What is the IBK DIGITAL?
IBK Digital offers you the opportunity to train in the field of psychology and psychotherapy, comfortably from home or from your workplace. On the platform you can call up lectures on a variety of current topics from your field of expertise. In addition, you can download the abstracts and CVs of the speakers, make personalized notes during the event, which you can send to yourself later, and use a Q&A function to ask questions during the individual lectures, which are then answered in a discussion panel. The Meeting Hub integrated on the platform allows you to get in touch with other conference participants.
Do I need a special software to participate in IBK DIGITAL?
No special software needs to be installed to participate in the event. All you need is a computer or laptop and a working Internet connection. Recommended is Google Chrome as operating system.
Can I also log in to IBK DIGITAL via a tablet or mobile phone on the platform?
Yes, the IBK DIGITAL can be visited from any kind of terminal.
Is there a simultaneous translation?
Yes, in 2020 we offer you a simultaneous translation at the main conference. In the program overview you can recognise the language of the lectures by the different colours.
Blue = Lecture in German
Green = Lecture in English
What kind of internet connection do I need to use the IBK DIGITAL platform without any problems?
You need a stable Wi-Fi or a wired internet line. Use over mobile data is also possible, but is not recommended due to the required data volume.
How is access to the IBK DIGITAL platform restricted?
To access the platform, you will receive personal data. These will be sent to all registered participants by e-mail before the congress.
Are there restrictions regarding the access to the pre – and main conference:
Please note that the lectures will only be shown to you if you have made the appropriate registration. For the lectures on Friday, you will need to register for the pre-conference. Registration for the main conference is a prerequisite for attending the lectures on Saturday and Sunday. The bookings you have made can be found in your confirmation of registration, which you have received by e-mail. A short-term post-registration is possible via the organising team.
How long can I still access on-demand content from IBK DIGITAL after the live congress?
Please note that the lectures cannot be made available on demand for data protection reasons.
Does IBK DIGITAL also give participants the opportunity to ask questions to the speakers?
Yes, there is the possibility to ask questions during the individual presentations with the Q&A function, which will be discussed with the speakers in the following discussion round.
What precautions have been taken to protect patient data and the speakers' copyright?
The online platform for IBK DIGITAL is only accessible to registered participants and is provided with a corresponding access restriction.
Participants are informed during registration and log-in on the platform that recordings of lectures in the form of photos, screenshots or film recordings are strictly prohibited. All participants must actively confirm that they will adhere to these guidelines in order to participate in IBK DIGITAL.
All lectures are the property of the respective speakers and are of course not given by us to other companies, webinars etc. passed on.
The use of the online portal and the registration to the IBK DIGITAL naturally complies with the guidelines of the DSGVO.
When will I receive the login data for the conference?
The dial-in data will be sent to you by e-mail on Thursday, 09. September
